In 2014 Cesc Boronat reopened the winery where his ancestors had been making wine 100 years earlier. His philosophy is to cultivate the grapes in a respectful, ecological and sustainable manner for the wine to become a reflection of the land it was cultivated on. He seeks to produce wines that express their proximity to the sea, the clay, the silt and the calcareous soil and the essences of aromatic herbs found in Mediterranean forest.

Tanca Els Ulls Malvasia is a is a cheerful, highly expressive, fresh, saline and elegant wine. It reflects the variety of the Malvasia grape but also perfectly expresses the Mediterranean terroir in which it grows.

Bodega Sers is a small family project in Huesca, in the Somontano wine region. Sers means wind, a strong northwestern wind which is very cold and dry and determines the course of life of the vines. The dry environment that is thus established forces the plants to struggle for their survival by extracting every scrap of nutrition from the soil and channeling this into their grapes. The winery has only 12 hectares of vineyards under cultivation and produces six different wines of limited production. All grapes are harvested by hand.

Sers Singular is a monovarietal wine of the Parraleta an autochthonous grape variety of Somontano that has been in danger of extinction. It’s an intense red wine with floral aromas as well as hints of vanilla and dark-roasted tones, matured in new barrels.

In 1960 Angel Sequeiros bought Quinta Gaviñeira, a stately property with 7.4 ha of Albariño vineyards dating from the 1920s. In 2009 his son Clemente started producing wines that capture the essences of the Albariño grape. Since then he has built a reputation for making some of the finest white wines in the region and has obtained a privileged position amongst the great European white winemakers.

Quinta Gaviñeira is a coupage of the Foudre and Lías wines during the first year of their elaboration. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on its lees for over a year. It pairs perfectly with vegetables, fish and seafood.
